I'm loving what appears to be a trend in newborn photography: photograph the newborn sleeping (and naked, of course). The baby needs to be less than 2 weeks old while they are still sleeping a lot and curling into the fetal position. Once sound asleep, the photographer can move the baby into poses, some seemingly unlikely, with no arguments - usually.
OK. But maybe It's not such a new trend. Anne Geddes started photographing infants like this many years ago. She was a pioneer in baby photography.
Photographing babies is all about the face. And what wonderful faces they are. Love it!
